Green eyes are beautiful – people who have them are truly blessed. When selecting a palette for green eyes, go for the colors that will enhance your eye color rather than dulling it out. T blue palette has the tendency to dull out the color of the eye, however if you really want to wear this palette, then go for the dark hues of the blue palette like a smokey blue palette comprising of midnight blue or navy blue, this might bring out the color rather than stultifying it.
Greens go excellent with the browns, purples, pinks, copper and at times with gold. When working with pinks you need to experiment first, there are only few shades of pink that will work the best for the green eyes – also, which shade will look good will also depend on your complexion and your hair color. Pink can be mixed with few shades of purple as well, to bring out the color – as there are few shades that lie between the purples and the pinks, these shades can work fairly well with green eyes.
Select the palette in three colors, ranging from the lightest shade to the darkest shade. For the pink palette you can work with baby pink, magenta and Hollywood Cerise. You may want to change the shades suggested according to your own complexion. If you feel the shades are too bright, then add purple to the makeup to subtle it out – these shades can be worn at daytime as these are bright and fun colors (also, at times they are bit challenging to pull off).
Start off by applying the base color, which is the lightest color – baby pink start applying it over the entire eye lid, starting from the lash line till the brow bone. After this, apply the second color which is the medium shade – magenta. Apply this, from the lash line till the crease line of the eyes. Blend it outwards just over the crease line in order to prevent any harsh lines from forming. After this, apply the last color which will be Hollywood Cerise. Again when applying this color, you need to ensure that it is blended properly. Start by applying it from the outer edge of the eyes and slowly bring it inwards.
Finish of the makeup with an eyeliner and a mascara – when working for a daytime makeup do not go for the black eyeliner – this will just bring in an extremely harsh look. Alternate it with either a brown eyeliner or match the eyeliner with your eye makeup, purple liner can work equally well and if you match an eyeshade along with it, then you can apply it over it – this will enhance the look. However, when working with mascara always goes for the black one, this will create prominence on those lashes. It will make the eyes appear open. First, curl up those eyes lashes and then apply two to three coats of mascara over it – leave a fraction of seconds between the coats, as you need to allow the mascara to dry before the next coat. Mascara enhances your eyes and brings out your entire eye makeup, which makes you just plain gorgeous!
